Veterinarian

 

Klea-Ann is a practicing partner in Maple Creek Veterinary Services. She obtained her DVM from the Western College of Veterinary medicine in 2001 and has spent her entire career in mixed animal practice. She has been a member of the MCVS team since 2008.

She truly enjoys the variety of mixed animal practice and works with our full caseload. Her special interests lie in all soft tissue surgery and in beef cattle preventive medicine and reproduction.

Klea-Ann and her husband Wade, currently reside just outside of Maple Creek with their two boys. Together they run a commercial beef cattle operation. When she is not at the clinic, she loves spending time with her family riding, working cows at home and travelling with the boys to hockey and rodeo.

Dr. Ashish Suri, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Suri has recently joined us in August 2023! Dr. Suri was born in a village in India and grew up among dairy cows and water buffaloes. He moved to Canada almost 14 years ago and lived in Saskatchewan for most of the time. Dr. Suri graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 2021. He loves working as a mixed animal veterinarian as every day is a new day in this field. He has experience working with small animals, equine, and bovines. In his free time, Dr. Suri loves hiking, camping, playing soccer, and staying active.

Inventory Manager

Hayley moved to Maple Creek in 2018 from Moose Jaw SK. She has held retail and customer service positions in the past and has had good inventory experience since settling in Maple Creek. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family & friends, getting outdoors, and camping a majority of the year with her husband Brandon and their 2 dogs Wrangler & Chevy.
Colin Kuntz

Clinic Manager

Born and raised in Saskatchewan but a traveler of the job industries, Colin brings his multiple decades of managerial experience to the Veterinarian clinic. Valuing calm collaboration as his coaching core wherever he goes. Once a sponsored racer, Colin does his best thinking on his bike and keeps it creative in the kitchen, where his grand daughter is his harshest critic. Having had dogs all his life, those who currently enjoy the spoils of his cooking are family dogs Prim and Lily, and Reba, the retired show cat.
Amanda Neitz

Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT)

 
Amanda graduated from SIAST Kelsey Campus in 2011 as a Registered Veterinary Technologist and has worked in the veterinary field ever since. She has always had a passion for animals and their well-being and is especially interested in anesthesia and pain management. Amanda loves working with all animals but is particularly fond of cats.

When not at work she enjoys gardening, camping and spending time with friends, family, her husband Keegan and their many animals.

Emily was raised on her family ranch just outside of Maple Creek. She has a special interest in Large Animal medicine. Emily says a fun fact about her is that she has two little fur babies, named Misty and Remi!

Sawyer Daley

Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT)

Raised on her family’s farm at Carstairs, AB, Sawyer began showing cattle at 19 months old, and has participated extensively in 4-H, YCS, junior and open shows across Western Canada for the past 28 years. Prior to her Vet Tech designation, she achieved her Bachelors Degree in Management and her Early Childhood Education Diploma. She has been fortunate to have had multiple opportunities to study, work and travel across Europe and Asia. Her favourite souvenirs from her travels are recipes for the local cuisines that she can recreate at home! Her passions are in bovine clinical practice, nutrition and reproductive technologies, but she enjoys the diversity that comes with mixed rural practice. She is excited to bring her experience to work with an incredibly knowledgeable team and develop her skills in veterinary medicine.
Kim Behrman

Veterinary Client Service Coordinator

 
Kim immigrated to Maple Creek in 2014 from Melbourne, Australia. She started working at the clinic in February 2018.

She has made Maple Creek her permanent home and loves spending time on her husband Derek’s family farm, exploring Canada, being social, and just living life and having fun. She brings with her extensive customer service experience from a variety of fields.

Lawrence is our veterinary technical assistant and jack of all trades. He has been with us since 1996. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a major in Animal Science as well as a diploma in Rangeland Management from Wascana Institute.

He originates from Maple Creek, SK. He and his wife, Sharon, have six children and ten grandchildren. Outside of work, he enjoys sports and spending time with his dog, Lucky.

Veterinary Medical Receptionist

Jody grew up south of Maple Creek on her family’s ranch and continues to help out there. She thoroughly enjoys horse riding and golfing. Jody is excited about working in a veterinary office as she will get to see loads of cute animals!

Veterinary Medical Receptionist

Mattea and her cat Suga are new to small town living in 2022. Creativity and curiosity guide Mattea through life. She looks forward to getting to know the town, its people and its animals.
