Dr. Klea-Ann Wasilow, DVM

Veterinarian

Klea-Ann is a practicing partner in Maple Creek Veterinary Services. She obtained her DVM from the Western College of Veterinary medicine in 2001 and has spent her entire career in mixed animal practice. She has been a member of the MCVS team since 2008.

She truly enjoys the variety of mixed animal practice and works with our full caseload. Her special interests lie in all soft tissue surgery and in beef cattle preventive medicine and reproduction.

Klea-Ann and her husband Wade, currently reside just outside of Maple Creek with their two boys. Together they run a commercial beef cattle operation. When she is not at the clinic, she loves spending time with her family riding, working cows at home and travelling with the boys to hockey and rodeo.

Veterinarian

Welcome Tiffany joining our team in May 2024!

Tiffany grew up in central Alberta on a 600-sow farrow to finish swine facility and 300-ewe ranch. She moved to Saskatchewan and received her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Animal Science with great distinction.

Before completing her DVM degree at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (2024) she worked in the agriculture and research sectors, as well as being figure skating coach. In her spare time you can find Tiffany skating, hiking, skiing, camping, biking and/or anything else related to the great outdoors. Tiffany is excited to continue learning, growing and advancing her veterinary skills within the great team of Maple Creek!

Hayley Neufeld

Inventory Manager

Hayley lives just south of Maple Creek with her husband, Brandon, and their two dogs, Wrangler and Chevy. With a background in retail, customer service, and inventory management, she currently specializes in inventory-related tasks, bringing both passion and precision to her role.

Outside of work, Hayley loves to spend time with family and friends. She is an avid outdoor enthusiast, enjoying regular walks and camping throughout the year. Her love for the outdoors and expertise in inventory management are vital assets to our team.

Colin Kuntz

Colin Kuntz

Clinic Manager

Colin, born and raised in Saskatchewan, has traversed various job industries, accruing decades of managerial experience, which he now brings to our veterinary clinic. He values calm collaboration and applies this approach as the cornerstone of his management and coaching style.

Formerly a sponsored racer, Colin finds his best ideas while cycling and expresses his creativity through cooking, with his granddaughter serving as his most discerning critic. A lifelong dog owner, his current canine companions, Prim and Lily, often enjoy the delicious results of his culinary experiments. Colin’s diverse background and personal interests enrich his professional role, making him a key asset to our team.

Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT)

Amanda graduated from SIAST Kelsey Campus in 2011 as a Registered Veterinary Technologist and has worked in the veterinary field ever since. She has always had a passion for animals and their well-being and is especially interested in anesthesia and pain management. Amanda loves working with all animals but is particularly fond of cats.When not at work she enjoys gardening, camping and spending time with friends, family, her husband Keegan and their many animals.

Emily Drury

Emily was raised on her family’s ranch near Maple Creek, she developed a strong passion for animal health and care. Emily graduated from Lakeland College in 2022 as a Registered Veterinary Technologist and is particularly interested in working with cats and horses. Emily is also Fear Free Certified, ensuring a comfortable experience for your pets during their clinic visits.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys curling, baking, horseback riding, and spending time with her family and friends. Her background and interests deeply enrich her professional skills, making her a dedicated and compassionate caregiver for your pets.

Welcome to Cloey Brown, a newly graduated RVT and new to Maple Creek! Cloey grew up on a farm/ranch which grew her passion to work in a mixed animal clinic. She loves camping, fishing and being with family. Cloey has a miniature dachshund puppy named Minnie and loves to take her for walks and teach her new tricks. Cloey graduated from Olds College with a diploma in Veterinary Reception and Animal Health Technology, and is excited to expand on her learning and be apart of such a wonderful team!

Sydney grew up on a ranch south east of Maple Creek – her family runs commercial black angus cattle, so she fits right into our clinic expertise. In her free time she enjoys working on the ranch, riding horses, barrel racing, curling, and spending time with friends!

Veterinary Client Service Coordinator

Kim immigrated to Maple Creek in 2014 from Melbourne, Australia. She started working at the clinic in February 2018.

She has made Maple Creek her permanent home and loves spending time on her husband Derek’s family farm, exploring Canada, being social, and just living life and having fun. She brings with her extensive customer service experience from a variety of fields.

Jody grew up south of Maple Creek on her family’s ranch and continues to help out there. She thoroughly enjoys horse riding and golfing. Jody is excited about working in a veterinary office as she will get to see loads of cute animals!

Veterinary Medical Receptionist

Guided by creativity and curiosity, Mattea is always on the lookout for new skills and hobbies. When not at work, she loves exploring the local hills and lakes with her Persian cat, Suga. Professionally, Mattea takes great pleasure in connecting with the community, its residents, and their animals, enriching her understanding and experience daily.

She is currently advancing her education to become a veterinary tech assistant, driven by her passion for animal care and her desire to make a positive impact in the veterinary field. Mattea’s enthusiastic approach to both life and work makes her a beloved member of our team.
